Introduction |
| Goal |
The main goal of this international first EFeCT Conference is to gather and discuss critically the information and scientific studies about conflict management methods. Special attention will be given to the history and theoretical and scientific basis of Life Space Crisis Intervention. The population we wish to delineate consists of children and youngsters who display disruptive behaviour.
| Target Participants |
Practitioners (teachers, educators, psychologists, orthopedagogues, …), policy makers, researchers and students. A variety of plenary sessions and workshops will be offered.
| Main areas of interest |
We are interested in proposals that explore different conceptions on the problem we seek to address: conflict management and treatment in education and care. We are interested in both evidence-based interventions as well as in novel approaches that will require further study. Specifically, we are interested in the following domains:
