Recertification training in Belgium (Only for LSCI Senior Trainers).

• March, 30 th & 31th & April, 1st, 2011: LSCI Supervisor Training

In cooperation with EFeCT (European Federation for Conflict Management and Treatment in Education and Care), we are pleased to announce the first LSCI Supervisor Training. The training is planned March 30th – April 1st, 2011 in KOC Sint Gregorius (Gentbrugge, Belgium). The training will be in English and there is a maximum of 30 participants.

This training is ment for people certificated in LSCI, willing to supervise the qualitative implementation of LSCI in the own facility. Themes will be the following: a deeper understanding of LSCI, i.e. the values in which we believe, and how these reflect in skills and the process of daily practice, supervision of staff members working with LSCI. Furthermore, the following subjects will be discussed: the effects of supervision on the organizational level of the facility, action planning, working with LSCI and virtues, the possibilities of LSCI research in the facility.
These themes will be worked out by the speakers and trained throughout inspiring exercises. Speakers will be: Mark Freado (Cal Farley, USA), Franky D’Oosterlinck (OOBC Nieuwe Vaart, Belgium), Gerrit De Moor (KOC Sint Gregorius, Belgium), Geert Stroobant (De Heide VZW, Belgium), Bram Soenen (OC Sint Idesbald, Belgium), Bert Boone (Director BMO Group, Belgium).
